Hello dear reader and welcome to my blog!

My name is Jelena, but folks also know me as Nessa. I’m a graduate of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Split, and have a MA in History and English language and literature. If you’d like to know more about my thesis and the long process of writing said thesis I wrote about it at length here.

I have various interests, but I usually find myself writing about books. On this site you can find book reviews in Croatian or English, longish chit-chats posts about books and reading plans. Additionally, sprinkled here and there, you’ll find posts about my other interests and passions: history, museums, beauty etc.

I’m most frequently on Twitter where I comment on a variety of topics, occasionally do a history related thread, or chat about the things I’m working on.
